Playing on your device

You can choose and care for a companion without an account. The app stores your companion’s name and species, care history, care-clock and sitter settings, appearance, adventures, stories, home collections and arrangement, and preferences on your device. It also remembers whether you dismissed the first-care guide. Unfinished play and grooming movements are temporary.

Any goals, mood check-ins, journal entries and drafts saved in the app’s earlier tools remain accessible from Settings. PetTippi does not use their text for clinical assessments or AI conversations.

Your operating system may include local app data in device backups. Removing the app can remove local progress. Backups you export are controlled by you and the destination you choose.

Accounts and optional cloud sync

Email sign-in uses your email address and an account identifier. Supabase provides authentication and cloud storage. If you enable sync, your complete app-state record is uploaded under your account, including companion progress, preferences and any saved journal content or unfinished drafts. Guest data is not automatically merged into a signed-in account.

Pausing sync stops future synchronization; it does not delete earlier cloud copies. Authorized services can process synced records to operate this feature. This is not end-to-end encrypted storage. Authentication and database requests also produce service metadata, including network and security logs.

The app’s primary database is hosted in Seoul, South Korea. Service providers may process operational or support information in other countries under their applicable data-protection terms.

Purchases

Your mobile platform’s store processes payments. PetTippi does not receive your full card details. RevenueCat processes customer identifiers and purchase history to validate access, restore purchases and report subscriptions. Signed-in billing can be linked to your account identifier; device-only billing uses a RevenueCat identifier. Companion records and journal text are not sent to RevenueCat.

Sharing and reminders

Sharing is optional. A milestone image contains the companion name and appearance, home arrangement and progress shown on the card. You choose where it goes; the app does not post automatically. Explicit backups can contain private journal text.

Care reminders are scheduled on your device after you enable them and grant permission. The described gameplay does not require microphone, camera, contacts or location access. The current app has no advertising or cross-app tracking integration.

Deletion and retention

The in-app deletion flow requires fresh email verification and a final DELETE confirmation. It removes your authenticated account and its synced app-state record. The app then clears local account data and recovery copies, and reports any local cleanup failure.

Separate guest progress, files you exported and operating-system backups are not removed by cloud-account deletion. Deleted database records can remain in service backups until those backups rotate. Supabase’s standard Pro-plan daily-backup recovery window is seven days; see Supabase’s backup information.

Account deletion does not cancel subscriptions or erase the stores’ transaction records. Before removing your cloud account, the in-app flow requests removal of the RevenueCat customer record linked to that account. If that step cannot be confirmed, the account is kept so you can retry. Separate device-only billing identifiers are not automatically matched to your cloud account; contact us for help with those records. Stores or providers may retain transaction records where required by law.

Use our account-deletion page to request deletion without reinstalling. We verify control of the account before acting. Applicable law may give you additional rights, including the right to complain to your data-protection authority.

This website

This support site does not include analytics scripts, advertising, forms or tracking cookies. Hosting infrastructure processes connection information needed to serve and secure pages. Emailing support shares your address and the information you include with the support mailbox.

Policy updates

The effective date identifies this version. We update this policy when data practices change and communicate material changes through an appropriate app or account channel.
